A Little About Us...

 

Imago began in 2003 as a vision to create better wedding videos. If you've watched a wedding video from the last decade or so, you'll most likely understand what we mean. We wanted to create a wedding videos that couples would actually want to watch again and again. We wanted to create wedding films with meaning. With a story. We promise it wont be boring or cheesy. We use stunning visuals and breathtaking attention to detail that weave together the story of your wedding day. Just watch one of our videos!


We use the best equipment and techniques to create your timeless film and we're always pushing the edge. We love to incorporate motion and movement in our films because ultimately, that's what film is about. Our clients are diverse and no wedding is ever the same. We've experienced weddings from many cultures and we know how to adapt and be flexible under any circumstance. And we love to try new things.


We're based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, but we love to travel. We frequently travel to the Rocky Mountains, Calgary, and Vancouver to film weddings. Due to the cold climate in St. Albert, we'd love it if you'd bring us with you to somewhere warm. Check out our travel page for more details.

Trisha & Jeremy’s Same Day Edit

We’ve been creating more Same-Day Edits then ever before and can’t get enough of them! We had an amazing time on Saturday filming Trisha & Jeremy getting married. Their wedding was hosted at the beautiful Fairmont Hotel MacDonald. Trisha is a huge fan of the boy band (remember the 90′s?) Hanson, and all of the reception tables were names after Hanson songs. We had the opportunity to work alongside Kenneth and Elaine from Just Married Photography and we’re really excited to see their images. They are a seriously-talented couple! The day had so many beautiful details, and we wish Trisha & Jeremy all the best! Keep an eye out for the highlights film coming soon!

Shanley + Tam ›› Same-Day-Edit

We have been very fortunate this past year to have been  invited to work with so many incredible couples. Many of our couples have booked us so long in advance, and there is a tremendous amount of build up to the wedding. With the wedding of Shanley + Tam this has been the case more then ever. Over the past year we have been very excited to work with Shanley and Tam, as we have gotten to know these two we have learned a lot about them. They are both very successful in both their personal and professional lives and have been very kind and gracious to us.

In addition to having worked with such a great couple, the vendors they chose were some of the absolute best. All of the wedding planning was done alongside Renée and Judy from getwed Event Designs. Renée is one of our favorite planners to work with, she is very organized and on top of every last detail! In additon to working with Renée, we also got to work alongside the guys from JT images. We always have a blast working alongside each other and really apreciate the work these guys do!

You may notice that this was a same-day edit (SDE). SDE’s require a lot of work and preparation, but always prove their worth when we get to watch the reaction from the Bride and Groom! Tam + Shanley had a packed day full of tea ceremonies, church ceremonies, and a exciting reception. We can’t wait to show you the rest!
