A Little About Us...

Imago began in 2003 as a vision to create better wedding videos. If you've watched a wedding video from the last decade or so, you'll most likely understand what we mean. We wanted to create a wedding videos that couples would actually want to watch again and again. We wanted to create wedding films with meaning. With a story. We promise it wont be boring or cheesy. We use stunning visuals and breathtaking attention to detail that weave together the story of your wedding day. Just watch one of our videos!

We use the best equipment and techniques to create your timeless film and we're always pushing the edge. We love to incorporate motion and movement in our films because ultimately, that's what film is about. Our clients are diverse and no wedding is ever the same. We've experienced weddings from many cultures and we know how to adapt and be flexible under any circumstance. And we love to try new things.

We're based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, but we love to travel. We frequently travel to the Rocky Mountains, Calgary, and Vancouver to film weddings. Due to the cold climate in St. Albert, we'd love it if you'd bring us with you to somewhere warm. Check out our travel page for more details.

Angelika & Sebastian ›› Edmonton Wedding Video

Angelika and Sebastian had a late-fall wedding at St. Joseph’s Basilica in Edmonton. We were lucky enough to capture some great shots with the leaves still on the trees (a rare occurrence for Edmonton at that time of year!). When we arrived to film the guys getting ready we were quickly asked if we knew how to tie a tie. Embarrassingly, we didn’t. We did however have a great time filming them figure it out. Angelika and Sebastian both have great senses of humour and we were constantly laughing! Enjoy!

Stacey & Ian’s Las Vegas Wedding

We did quite a bit of travelling last year, and one of our favourite destinations was shooting with Ian and Stacey in the Redrock desert, just West of Las Vegas. We posted some images from their wedding a while back, but we’ve been saving the film for a special occasion.

If you remember from our last post, Ian and Stacey had a small wedding with close family and friends in Las Vegas at the Wynn Hotel. We arrived the day before the wedding and were even able to film them getting their marriage license at the Clark County Courthouse (open 24/7!). After the ceremony the limo driver picked us up and asked us where we’d like to go for the couples photo/video session. I said we need mountains, cactuses, and no signs of civilization. 45 minutes later we found our spot.

Lindsey & Kerry ›› Fort Edmonton Wedding Video

If you saw the clip we posted last week from Kerry & Lindsey’s Love story you probably got an idea that they are a fun and easy-going couple. We filmed their wedding at Fort Edmonton Park, which is Canada’s largest living history museum and felt like we travelled back to the 1920s to film their wedding! I think this wedding embodies the word “charming” perfectly.

Dana & Jeff’s Highlights ›› Edmonton Wedding Video

Dana & Jeff has a beautiful fall wedding in Edmonton. Their ceremony was held at St. Josaphat’s Church, a beautiful church rich in history, established in 1902. They had an incredible reception at the Oasis Conference Centre which is always one of our favourite locations to film. They are a very photogenic family and we had a great time capturing their big day! Below is a photo of Dana that we took as well as their highlights film. We hope you enjoy their story.

Lindsey & Kerry — Their Story (Abridged)

Filming love stories has to be one of my favourite things to film. We interview the couple separately and ask them some of the same questions and see what brought them together. We get to see both perspectives and learn a lot about the couple. Afterwards, when we get to the wedding day, we feel like we have a better understanding of their personalities and can create a film that better reflects who they are.

This is an excerpt from Lindsey & Kerry’s Love Story that highlights how both people personalities and perspectives really come out!
