A Little About Us...

Imago began in 2003 as a vision to create better wedding videos. If you've watched a wedding video from the last decade or so, you'll most likely understand what we mean. We wanted to create a wedding videos that couples would actually want to watch again and again. We wanted to create wedding films with meaning. With a story. We promise it wont be boring or cheesy. We use stunning visuals and breathtaking attention to detail that weave together the story of your wedding day. Just watch one of our videos!

We use the best equipment and techniques to create your timeless film and we're always pushing the edge. We love to incorporate motion and movement in our films because ultimately, that's what film is about. Our clients are diverse and no wedding is ever the same. We've experienced weddings from many cultures and we know how to adapt and be flexible under any circumstance. And we love to try new things.

We're based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, but we love to travel. We frequently travel to the Rocky Mountains, Calgary, and Vancouver to film weddings. Due to the cold climate in St. Albert, we'd love it if you'd bring us with you to somewhere warm. Check out our travel page for more details.

Viva Las Vegas…

Ryan and I have been on the road almost every weekend for the last 5 weeks. I don’t think I’ve spent a Saturday at home in 5 weeks. Unfortunately, all this traveling has limited our time to blog. Well, let’s get back on track.

This weekend was spent far away from home in Fabulous Las Vegas. 40 degree heat, beautiful sunshine, and of course a wedding. Stacey & Ian’s wedding at the Wynn Las Vegas was our first ever Fusion Shoot (photography and cinematography). Their wedding was different than the average Vegas wedding, as it wasn’t done in a 24hr chapel and the officiant wasn’t dressed like Elvis. Rather, they held a beautiful ceremony in an incredible suite overlooking the lights of the Las Vegas Strip and invited friends and family to witness the event.

As a side note, I would like to warn our readers of the Wynn Buffet. I am no stranger to buffets. I pace myself, and I choose food strategically. This night was an exception. After skipping breakfast, and lunch (busy schedule!), I was particularly famished. After devouring my first few plates, I went to make my final assault on the dessert section, but felt a snap in the area of my waist. My belt, after a long struggle with rising pressure, finally gave way and literally snapped. The buckle flew off and luckily no one was injured. Lesson learned: Someone needs to invent pleated sweatpants.

Below are a few of the images we captured during the day. Stay tuned for the video sometime soon!
