Imago began in 2003 as a vision to create better wedding videos. If you've watched a wedding video from the last decade or so, you'll most likely understand what we mean. We wanted to create a wedding videos that couples would actually want to watch again and again. We wanted to create wedding films with meaning. With a story. We promise it wont be boring or cheesy. We use stunning visuals and breathtaking attention to detail that weave together the story of your wedding day. Just watch one of our videos!
We use the best equipment and techniques to create your timeless film and we're always pushing the edge. We love to incorporate motion and movement in our films because ultimately, that's what film is about. Our clients are diverse and no wedding is ever the same. We've experienced weddings from many cultures and we know how to adapt and be flexible under any circumstance. And we love to try new things.
We're based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, but we love to travel. We frequently travel to the Rocky Mountains, Calgary, and Vancouver to film weddings. Due to the cold climate in St. Albert, we'd love it if you'd bring us with you to somewhere warm. Check out our travel page for more details.

A couple of weeks ago we filmed the wedding of Sandra + Hadi, what an incredible day it was. Sandra and Hadi had an amazing ceremony that was filled with love, laughter and dance (lots of dancing)!!! The day was topped off with a fabulous reception! Just like the ceremony, the reception was filled with a lot of dancing and smiles!
We have to give a shout out to our good friend Renée Chan from getwed Event Designs. She did an incredible job keeping things on task!

We always like to try new things around here, something that is challenging and different from the usual. Although no two weddings are ever alike for us, some really offer a whole new perspective. When we were asked to film the wedding of Hikmat + Abe we were really excited. Many of the traditions that occured during the wedding were very unique to us, and being able to capture their story and all the moments that unfolded was incredible.
Anyways, let me introduce you to Hikmat and Abe!

Ever since meeting Adlina & Sunni at their home last year we have been counting down the days until their wedding. Adlina has been a big fan of our work and she explained to us that she’s seen every one of our films!
We arrived the day before the wedding just in time for the rehearsal on the resort rooftop. Afterwards we spent the afternoon scouting locations (which wasn’t too hard!). Osoyoos is home to Canada’s most famous wineries and has a very warm climate (40 degrees Celsius on the wedding day!). Cherries were in season and we spent some time in the Orchards near the resort. Osoyoos is so close to the US border that we saw fireworks from Independence Day.
This film was one of our “Same-Day Edits” and was presented at the reception that evening. The whole thing was kept a secret from Sunni as I edited it in the room next door. When we began showing it, the look on his face was definitely worth the work!
As an interesting note, Adlina actually designed the wedding rings herself. You’ll see their appearance about half-way into the film. Sunni got in quite a bit of trouble on the way back as he lost his ring on the airplane. Luckily for him, he was able to find it when we landed.
We would like to thank Adlina and Sunni for their kindness and generosity towards us at their beautiful wedding in Osoyoos, British Columbia. We felt honoured to spend the weekend getting to know your close friends and family.
