A Little About Us...

Imago began in 2003 as a vision to create better wedding videos. If you've watched a wedding video from the last decade or so, you'll most likely understand what we mean. We wanted to create a wedding videos that couples would actually want to watch again and again. We wanted to create wedding films with meaning. With a story. We promise it wont be boring or cheesy. We use stunning visuals and breathtaking attention to detail that weave together the story of your wedding day. Just watch one of our videos!

We use the best equipment and techniques to create your timeless film and we're always pushing the edge. We love to incorporate motion and movement in our films because ultimately, that's what film is about. Our clients are diverse and no wedding is ever the same. We've experienced weddings from many cultures and we know how to adapt and be flexible under any circumstance. And we love to try new things.

We're based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, but we love to travel. We frequently travel to the Rocky Mountains, Calgary, and Vancouver to film weddings. Due to the cold climate in St. Albert, we'd love it if you'd bring us with you to somewhere warm. Check out our travel page for more details.

Big Huge Announcement!

A while back we did some photos for some friends of ours who had just had a baby. Many of our friends and family know that we are also huge into photography. With recent changes to the wedding cinema industry their has been what some call a fusion between the mediums used for cinematography and photography. Many of the tools that were exclusively used for photography are now being used to create stunning cinema.

We have received an overwhelming response to the photos that we have posted on our blog, something we really were not expecting!  As a result, we are now going to begin officially offering Lifestyle Photography. We have been contacted by a ton of past clients and friends for commissions, so this step makes obvious sense for us!

From the shoots we have done thus far we have learned we especially enjoy working with families and children.

We have just launched a new photo site. Check it out @ www.imagophoto.ca

Also- To launch our new endeavor we are offering our session fee for $100.00 (that’s a 50% discount)!

Yesterday, we had a blast working with the Lieskie family. Mike and Christi’s two young children were incredibly enegertic for the better part of our session, we had a great workout chasing them around through downtown.

Salima + Sameer | Edmonton Wedding Videographer

A few weeks back we had the absolute pleasure of filming the wedding of Salima and Sameer. The wedding took place over two days. Both days were filled of laughter and love, it was truly a very special couple of days. We were especially well taken care of by their entire family. From the moment we met Salima and Sameer, we knew they were going to be a blast to film.

Day one was awesome. It was filled with many informal ceremonies, laughter, and delicious treats. The evening was topped off with a “ceremony” for Sameer. As we showcased on our blog a couple weeks back, it was a rather messy one, to say the least :P . The wedding took place a couple days later. The ceremony was at  the Belle Rive Centre in Edmonton. Salima and Sameer both looked incredible in traditional dress.

The reception took place at the River Cree Casino, and again it was simply perfect. The reception began with a few informal ceremonies to bless the newly wed couple. Our favorite was the “who wears the pants Ceremony” – At the count of three the couple jumps off a small platform onto the ‘sapatia’, and whoever crushes it first “wears the pants” in the house. Looks like Salima won by a long shot, sorry Sameer :) . The night was finished off with a big party and lots of dancing!

It was a pleasure to be able to capture  Salima + Sameer’s wedding, Thanks Guys!!!! :)
