Imago began in 2003 as a vision to create better wedding videos. If you've watched a wedding video from the last decade or so, you'll most likely understand what we mean. We wanted to create a wedding videos that couples would actually want to watch again and again. We wanted to create wedding films with meaning. With a story. We promise it wont be boring or cheesy. We use stunning visuals and breathtaking attention to detail that weave together the story of your wedding day. Just watch one of our videos!
We use the best equipment and techniques to create your timeless film and we're always pushing the edge. We love to incorporate motion and movement in our films because ultimately, that's what film is about. Our clients are diverse and no wedding is ever the same. We've experienced weddings from many cultures and we know how to adapt and be flexible under any circumstance. And we love to try new things.
We're based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, but we love to travel. We frequently travel to the Rocky Mountains, Calgary, and Vancouver to film weddings. Due to the cold climate in St. Albert, we'd love it if you'd bring us with you to somewhere warm. Check out our travel page for more details.
We’ve really been looking forward to releasing Chantal & Ezekiel’s film! It’s our first Jewish wedding film and we had so much fun! The weather was uncooperative all day. Just when we would venture outside to enjoy some of the sunshine, it would turn into a torrential downpour! The ceremony was planned to be outdoors, but was moved inside to the Ivor Petrak room. In a magical moment, during their vows, Ezekiel noticed something out the window and motioned for Chantal to have a look. An incredible rainbow had appeared stretching out over the Bow Valley between Tunnel Mountain and Mount Rundle.
Earlier in the day I asked Chantal what she was looking forward to the most at the wedding and she said it was the dancing. When I asked if they were good dancers she said, “We’re ok”. That was an understatement! You have to see their moves near the end of the film!
I had a lot of connections with Chantal and her family that brought out “what a small world!” on many occasions. We want to thank Chantal & Ezekiel for sharing their incredible day with us and for their kindness and generosity.
I don’t think we’ve ever been to a wedding with so much detail, decor, and entertainment! Behind all the glamour and glitz of their wedding, lay a truly beautiful and authentic story. Amber and Aaron were married at Sacred Heart Church and had their reception at the historic Fairmont Palliser in downtown Calgary. The evening was themed around Cirque Du Soleil theme and featured incredible performances by fire-breathers, contortionists, magicians, and an incredible band! You truly have to see it to believe it! We also had the pleasure of working by our friend Johnny of JT Images. Check out for some of the photos from the event! Wedding Planning & Design was done by Mary & Debbie over at Lavish – Wedding Planning & Design. Their crew did such a spectacular job!
P.S. Be sure to press the HD button in the top right corner of the film.
I know I’ve said this before, but I love filming Love Stories because we learn so much about a couple and their personalities. When it comes to their wedding day, we have a head start on capturing their story and incorporating their personalities into their film. Michelle and Mark are both very emotional people — Michelle still tears up every time she re-tells the story of how Mark proposed. Michelle & Mark were married at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald in Edmonton. We arrived early to make sure we had time to find a good location to film the dress, only to find that Michelle had found the perfect spot already. Michelle & Mark are a couple that are totally in love and are surrounded by so many good people. Below you will find their Love Story and their Same-Day-Edit.
We’ve been creating more Same-Day Edits then ever before and can’t get enough of them! We had an amazing time on Saturday filming Trisha & Jeremy getting married. Their wedding was hosted at the beautiful Fairmont Hotel MacDonald. Trisha is a huge fan of the boy band (remember the 90′s?) Hanson, and all of the reception tables were names after Hanson songs. We had the opportunity to work alongside Kenneth and Elaine from Just Married Photography and we’re really excited to see their images. They are a seriously-talented couple! The day had so many beautiful details, and we wish Trisha & Jeremy all the best! Keep an eye out for the highlights film coming soon!
We’re frequent travellers of Alberta’s Highway #2. We’ve shot all over the province, but never once have we shot in Red Deer (Alberta’s 3rd largest city)! This came to an end last weekend when we had the pleasure of filming Micaela & Jeremy’s wedding.
Micaela & Jeremy began there relationship from almost 800 kms away (Jeremy lives in North Saskatchewan)! We had an awesome time getting to know these two and meeting all of their friends and family. Check out their SDE!
