Leela and Jason had a spectacular wedding at the Banff Springs Hotel. Jason and Leela live in the U.K., but choose to host their wedding at the beautiful ‘Castle in the Rockies’. Only 3 of their guests were actually from the same time-zone, with everyone else travelling great distances to be with them on their special day.

We were thrilled to capture so many wonderful and personal moments during their wedding day, such as their first look under a castle archway, their exchanging of gifts in the morning, and the ice bar and martini luge! We also had the pleasure of working with Sheryl from Lynn Fletcher Weddings, who did an incredible job! They couldn’t have picked a more beautiful and sunny day for their wedding. Banff didn’t disappoint!

Neither of us had ever been to Cold Lake before, so we didn’t know what to expect. When we arrived we discovered a beautiful little city full of warm and inviting people!

Chloe and Jeremy had a beautiful ceremony on the lake in her Grandmother’s backyard. The weather was warm and sunny with a soft breeze coming off the lake. It was the perfect day!

Jeremy and his guys arrived in the back of Jeremy’s incredible red El Camino SS, which you will see a few times in the film! Jeremy and Chloe’s dogs also joined in on the ceremony and we’re walked down the aisle! Chloe designed and created a lot of the decor herself, and it turned out incredible!

Their reception was held under an enormous tent just outside of town, where guests were treated to great food, dancing under the stars, and a paper lantern release ceremony when it got dark.

It was always Rachel’s dream to be married under a tree, but Alberta’s weather can be unpredictable at times and an indoor venue (The TransAlta Arts Barn) was chosen instead. Not to let her dream disappear, Lynn Fletcher from Lynn Fletcher Weddings had a cherry blossom tree built, and shipped to Edmonton for the occasion. Alberta’s weather held true to it’s name and it rained heavily all day, but that didn’t put a damper on Rachel and Neil’s spirit!

Rachel and Neil’s wedding had so many wonderful details and surprises for the guests. From pink champagne and pink lemonade to fresh cherry cotton candy during the cocktail hour. It was an emotional and joy-filled day, and it was an incredible honour to be there to capture it all.
